What is killing my tomatos?

Pepper239August 6, 2012

Hello, I am fairly new to gardening I planted seeds in late june of Tomatos, sweet&purple basil , sweet peppers and jalapenos. Most of the plants are in size right black pots. Ive knoticed tho on a few of my tomato plants there are these "black poop sacks" or eggs. They seem to be killing and suffocateing the leaves. Does anyone know what this is and how to get rid of it

Thankx, Pepper

Do you notice any hornworms? They are the same color as the leaves. Maybe you only have one!

Where do you live? Unless you're Zone 8b I think you're fairly early and thus suffering our typical insects/humidity with until things cool down some....
