Harvesting Jiaongulan vine

jonesjungle1(8b)November 9, 2012

Hello, does anyone know about harvesting jiaongulan? I have been very lucky with this (new to me) plant this year and need to harvest before our first freeze. I am wondering if the tiny stems of the vine are included in the dried herb? I have searched Google in vane. Thanks for your time

The attached link (which I found with searching at google with its botanical name) says dry leaves and stems in the sun. There is also a section on it in Rich Cech's "Making Plant Medicine." I don't have the book in front of me at the moment so see if you can find it at your library.

Here is a link that might be useful: link

Thank you for taking the time to Google this the way I should have thought to and give me the link. I will definitely look into the book by Rich Cech. I appreciate it.
