Mint leaf spots

mn.excalNovember 16, 2013

I have some wild mint under a couple T-8s that I'm attempting to carry through the winter. Discovered these spots beginning to accumulate on the leaves.

Any ideas?

These plants were in rough shape when I dug them up two weeks ago. Wondering if I should just chop them back to soil level, and let them re-sprout.

Update for anyone reading this.
I repotted these today, removed all the old soil, and kept only what had sprouted up in the past few days.
I'm hoping this will take care of the issue. The root system is healthy, and new growth seems strong.
