Concrete leaf workshop at Heathcote

writersblockAugust 4, 2014

I know that in the past there's been some interest here in creating concrete leaves for stepping stones and so on. For anyone within easy driving distance of Ft Pierce, Heathcote Botanical Gardens is having a workshop for learning how to make these on August 9.

Did anyone "here" go? Wondering if attendees went home with 1 leaf or (6) as in photo. The 6 look small.
Occurs somewhere on my Bucket List!

I might have gone except that I have no way to use these, since I live in a townhouse with a paved courtyard, and far too many raccoons to do a fountain.

I do like the leaves, though.

I saved this photo many years ago hoping to do the same project one day.
