Source for Roman Wormwood plants

elgordoDecember 12, 2007

Does anyone know where I can find Roman Wormwood (Artemisia pontica)? None of the local nurseries seem to carry it. I would prefer plants but if you know where I can order seeds I may have to settle for that. Thanks.

Companion Plants in Ohio carries it, but they're serious when they warn about its invasiveness and maybe a little to optimistic on how easy it is to contain. It's not that difficult to pull up outlying stems, but if you ever decide that you don't want it in your garden at all, you may have a job on your hands. You might try this in a pot to begin with.
