What's eating my arrowroot?

I have a few arrowroot plants growing. Highly recommended, by the way; they grow with very little care and in the shade.

Anyway, take a look at this picture:

Any idea what could do that to a plant?

Looks a lot like leafcutter bees (harmless) to me....

Yes, cutter bees. Harmless, but annoying if you love perfect foliage. Just think of them as pollinators.
