I got some purple Basil Jelly at Wholefoods and I'd like to try some basil jelly myself.
It's very tasty.
Anyone have a recipe?
While I don't have purple basil I have loads of green so I'm hopeful that will work.

Fancy Basil Jelly
1Â½ cups packed fresh anise, cinnamon, opal or lemon basil (choose one)
2 cups water
2 tbsp cider vinegar
pinch of salt
3Â½ cups sugar
3 oz liquid pectin
Wash and pat basil dry with paper towels. Chop finely and place in a large saucepan. Add water and bring slowly to a boil and boil for 10 seconds. Remove from heat, cover and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain and recover 1Â½ cups of liquid. Place in a saucepan and add vinegar, salt and sugar. Bring to a hard boil while stirring constantly. When boil can not be stirred down, add pectin. Return to a hard boil and boil for exactly 1 minute. Remove from heat, skim off foam and pour into hot jars and process for 10 mins in a BWB to seal.
