Canning Beans

dogwood_starAugust 7, 2012

I am finally going to break out my new pressure canner this week. I am taking it to the extension office tomorrow to get it checked. I would likke to start by trying beans. Does anyone have good recipes, or directions for beans?

Thank you for any help!

Green (string/snap) beans or dried beans? NCHFP provides the directions for doing both as does the Ball Blue Book.

Here is a link that might be useful: NCHFP - Canning beans - both types

Sorry about that, I thought I had put dry beans in the post.
