Required reading for Commies

haydayhaydayJanuary 21, 2012

Last night I'm listening to NPR as I head out for the evening. (You Commies really shouldn't be wasting all your time listening to Rush and watching Fox.)

On This American Life, there was a small segment about an historic moment in China.

The segment was introduced by pointing out that in the past 30 years, China has been growing at an astonishing 10% per year!!!

How, you ask? Read all about it.

There are a few good lessons to be learned through that story. But like Ohiomom alluded to, not everyone will read the same story.

Its the way farmers coops work here. I belong to three non-profit cooperatives, The irrigation company, the electric coop, and the domestic water coop.

Individuals joining together, sharing a common resource for the common good within a contractual, legal framework.

Growing at 10% per year!!!!!! WOW!!!!!

Hay has the mind of a Commissar.

Hint For Hayseed: what was the baseline from which the 10% was added?

"Individuals joining together, sharing a common resource for the common good within a contractual, legal framework."

That's what government is supposed to be.
