Reblooming on old Peduncles???

Hi,

I have this Shooting Star Hoya (Hoya javanica) where the old peduncles started to bloom again. Does hoya do this?

It can but the peduncles are not long lasting and they will drop after they bloom a few times. As the plant grows there will be a peduncle at each leaf node along the stem so a happy plant will be in almost constant bloom.

So it's possible for it to bloom again. Thanks Mike.

I was referring to the specific Hoya species you mentioned which drops peduncles after a few blooms but most other Hoyas do not drop the peduncles so readily and they may bloom from them for years.
