Hi - I have about 30 lbs of peaches to put up. I freeze slices and make jam but I want to also can some halves or slices. I 'd like to use fruit juice instead of sugar. Do any of you have a recipe that uses juice? Thanks

They will not be as firm, though. Sugar helps keep them firmer, plus you will usually have more issues with floating fruit in juice or water.
That's a good point from Linda Lou. Even the very light sugar syrup recipe will give you much better quality. You don't need to use the full heavy syrup.
