This is really cool! Time-lapse of giant pumpkin growing

TheTradition(9b)October 31, 2013

Really neat watching this go from seed to an "Atlantic Giant" pumpkin. Better than watching grass grow!

Here is a link that might be useful: Yahoo News video of time-lapse pumpkin

The original works fine for me, but here's one designed to be shared rather than the URL in my browser address line.

I agree with Writersblock, that was some pumpkin! I saw a huge one at the local farmers market, unfortunately I think they are just for the show quality and not so good for eating. For me it is time to make pumpkin soup again.

I made one time a pumpkin roll that everyone liked it.:)

That thing is not a plant, its an animal.

I am going to try a Seminole Pumpkin this summer, I know not a real pumpkin. I'm just looking for warm weather options for my zone. I'm not that into pumpkin to sacrifice the space any other time of year. But that is just me! I am not a pumpkin hater!! lol

That was a neat video. Thanks for posting.

Orlando-Dave, Seminole Pumpkin may not be a "real" pumpkin, but it is tasty. it also doesn't require a crane to move. :-)

Good luck and I hope you get a bunch next year.
