This Weeks Holy Rollers

labrea_gwJanuary 16, 2011

I Gave you a break last week & just for Dan who complained I never include any Imams. Dan missed your contribution to the problems of Christians in Iraq.

Tax break tailors of the moral fabric of our society.

Nevada: Pastor Otis Holland arrested for molesting a seven year-old girl. Holland was arrested last year on similar charges.

New York: Pastor Jason LaPierre arrested for embezzling over $400,000 from a credit union.

Ontario: Father James Boudreau arrested for sexual assault on a child.

Belgium: Father Eric Dejaeger accused of molesting multiple children in Canada. He has already served five years in prison for the same crime.

California: Pastor Dino Cardelli charged with intimidating a victim prior to his trial for child rape.

Missouri: Pastor David Love pleads not guilty to murdering the husband of his mistress.

Minnesota: Pastor William Neal Matthews charged with financial exploitation of an elderly person.

Britain: Father Paul Shannon pleads guilty to 16 counts of producing child pornography.

Michigan: Rev. Sarah Jane Samuelson charged with serving alcohol to over 100 minors attending a party she hosted in her home.

Florida: Pastor Gordon Libby charged with kidnapping a 14 year-old from a Walmart and then masturbating in the victim's presence. Libby is the founder of the clergy recruitment firm Pastors4U.

Britain: Imam Mohammed Hanif Khan charged with rape of a 12 year-old boy.

New Jersey: Pastor Enoc Sotelo charged with 17 felony counts of defrauding immigrants in a green card scam.

Massachusetts: Father Donald Provost sued for sexual assault of an eight year-old boy. The Worcester Catholic Diocese and ten other unidentified individuals are named in the suit. Provost has been previously convicted of photographing a ten year-old boy in a public locker room.

Wisconsin: Pastor Lewis Givens charged with sexually assaulting a mentally challenged nine year-old girl.

This Week's Winner

Minnesota: The Catholic Diocese of New Ulm is being sued for covering up the crimes of Father Francis Markey, who was twice arrested for child molestation. Markey was suspended three times after accusations of sexual assaults on children and all three times he was later reinstated as a priest. The lawsuit also names the treatment facilities to which the Catholic Church referred Markey, as well as the Diocese of Clogher in Ireland, where he once worked.

I was wondering already about the holy stains update.

The frequent was "arrested/charged/in jail for similar crime before"...and how they move them about, child abuse has really gone global a long time ago. Do they keep records on that shifting or what.

Yeah... it does all get a little depressing at times... the magnitude of it all... but I just keep pushin' on, as the song goes.

There are far more things in which to find wonder and happiness than in all the evil the worlds holds combined. We just find those things closer to home, I think.

Nope, I just want to give recognition to the LARGER problem. I surely don't want to give those homosexual gay priests and ministers a free ride while we are bashing religious leaders. Shame on all of those gay religious leaders for sexing those little boys. Bet their behaviour had something to do with people wanting to keep dem homosexual gay men out of the boys scouts. Bad bad religious leaders........shame on all of you.

Dan, you're a piece of work. If you think the problem is homosexual priests and ministers, then I have a bridge for sale...

Hey paulines......I'm only helping labrea bash those bad religious leaders. I've got some bridges for sale too, if you believe those homosexual priests and ministers are not "a" problem.

Dan,

I don't believe bashing religious leaders is appropriate, in the least. I do believe outing the evil ones is a good thing, I'd imagine you'd agree?

There are good and bad 'straight' religious leaders, as well as good and bad homosexual religious leaders. It appears to me that Labrea is focusing on the good vs bad as opposed to the homosexual vs. straight and we should too.

"I don't believe bashing religious leaders is appropriate, in the least."

I am in 100% agreement with you paulines. However, labrea now has this "weekly" bashing per his OP. I fully intend to do my part and keep it "fair and balanced" whenever anyone does not feel loved by GAWD and wants to bash some religious leaders.

This bit screams for more information!

10 year olds? 17 year olds? Or a few months shy of 21? Heavy hand with some no-cook rum balls?

Dan has declared my weekly list of criminals "religious leaders" funny guy which makes my original case from way back when I first started it. Weekly he gives them a pass a selective pass at that. By the bye chuckles you still haven't weighed in on the problem of real persecution & downright murder of Christians in Iraq which was my 2nd challenge to that logical melon of yours.
