It looks like it belongs on a coral reef! Like it wants to reach out and grab a fish. What spectacular colors!

It seems early for the candlestick broms to be blooming already. I'll have to check mine. They are such pretty flowers.

matchstick! picked the other at the master gardeners plant show years ago, not a matchstick. sent a pic to selby gardens in sarasota, fl. he id'd it, but long forgotten name. was bromeliad of the year, years back, he sent me a great link. but forgot it too.............:).....m
