Papaya Bug: Is it Erinnyis alope? What action should I take?

rawvegangardenerOctober 4, 2012

Found this bug in the image on my papaya plant today. My research of pests on the papaya shows a resemblance to Erinnyis alope. Here's a link to a website that talks about the pest: . What should I do about this pest?

I'd just pull him right off there and smash his little head or throw him to the fish.... If a bunch more show up then consider other options
