I spent an hour with my wife covering all that I could. I guess my mistake was planting hostas that like the sun ,they come up too early. It up top Mother Nature now. Snowing as I write this.
Midmorning on Mother's Day, not unheard of I suppose in some zones, but so sad to hear your emerging hosta are in a world gone crazy. I hope this too shall pass, and it will be spring for a week or so at least, before summer sets in.
Wonder if its snowing in Burlington too? My son and daugther in-law live there. I visit every summer.
I'm going to Chazy this summer searching for information on my ancestors. I found them there in the 1850 census. I'll be researching the St. Peter (St. Pierre) surname.
I hope your hostas don't suffer too much damage and that it warms up real soon.
Not snowing in Chazy. Supposed to be 70 there today. The winter has come back to my winter home in Aurora ,Colorado two days before we were to leave for NY
3 hrs south of ChazyNY on the Northway it is 74 dgrs without clouds, too hot for me to mow the lawn.
I hope you are not getting as bad as I am Don!!!
Looks like MY yards, Sunnywood! Pretty much the same thing. The low temps through tomorrow are gonna hurt, I'm afraid.
