creeping yew and leopard plant.....???? google search looks good for this area. leopard plant just transpanted and WATERED.....
Second one is definitely a leopard plant. I have mine planted under the shade of a variegated ginger and its been blooming and growing wonderfully.
thx. was really surprised on how cold hardy they are. going back for a second one tomorrow. want the variegated too.......
Sorry, getting dark out, couldn't take a good shot, plus the bed needs to be redone.
Doesn't reach quite as low of temps in Pinellas as Deland, but yeah, the Leopard Plant is quite a trooper and should survive to 10 or 15F, I believe. Just don't let it get too much sunlight.
thanks, went back and got the other one.
Nice score! Leopard plant so awesome - I have 3. Took that cold winter a couple years ago no problem, and the yellow flowers feed bees and butterflies. The clumps expand slowly and no pests seem to bother them. An excellent shade plant!
I have one with green leaves that have yellow dots. It's pretty even without the flowers. :o)
