Help identify a hoya

daffodilianNovember 8, 2012

Hi all. I bought this unlabeled hoya and would like to know what kind it is specifically. It looks a lot like a Hindu Rope hoya except that the leaves are much thinner / crisper and the color is a yellow / very light green. In fact, it might not even be a hoya since the leaves are so much thinner, but that's my best guess so far.

The leaves on the stems are arranged in an alternate pattern so your plant is not a Hoya. Hoya leaves are arranged opposite each other along the vines.
A Peperomia cultivar maybe?

I think you have a type of 'Devil's Backbone' Euphorbia.
It may be a new cultivar or introduction.

Thanks for the suggestions. The plant does look a lot like the Variegated Devil's Backbone plant, only with the leaves very twisted up. Couldn't find a specific matching cultivar via Google images but I'll keep trying.

Here is a link that might be useful: Variegated Devil's Backbone
