Two NOID Id's

dray67(7)May 14, 2012

This one above, came with my house and i have been here 9 years. This division is about 3 years old.

I purchased this as Wide Brim from a big box store about 3 yeaes ago. Do you think that is correct?

The upper one looks more like Wide Brim to me. Wide Brim's edges are yellow early on and turn white later in the season. Mine never have a light green edge. In my yard, Wide Brim is green, not blue.

The top one is Fortunei Aureomarginata and the bottom one looks correct. There is a little too much blue in the bottom picture (shoelaces are blue, background leaves also have a blue tint) but I bet it is a green hosta in real life.
