i have been looking for a way to identify some hydrangeas by thier appearance now (in southern new england.) i don't yet know what they look like when they are not dormant. i just need to know enough to prune them properly and at the right time. thanks!

Good morning, mollyjanea. If they are still dormant, you may want to post old pictures taken while the plant was awake, with leaves out and blooming.

Just wondering, do you have a need to prune them though? Are they growing out of bounds or something?
