What is this?

As I was gazing lovingly (;P) at my Hydrangeas yesterday I noticed a strange little guy growing out of the pot. Sorry for the picture quality. If you can even see it, any idea what it is? Should I get rid of it or...?

Looks like just a weed......as best as I can tell from the photos, perhaps shotweed.
