tesa001(z8 plantersville tx)March 26, 2009

i hear we're gonna have one last wee cold snap here

in texas this weekend, maby 40

i just planted out my impatients in my meditation

garden last weekend

i wonder if they'll be ok, or should i try and cover

them up?

i plan to cover my tom's and peppers, and baby vines,

but should i be overly concerned with one night

of chilly temps?

dang texas weatehr

I know this is a little late in coming. From my experience they should take low temps like that with out much trouble at all. What really does them in is freezing temps. My greenhouse regularly gets into the 40s and upper 30s before I turn on the heat at night. I believe as long as the days warm up quickly there should not be any problem.
