Pls id this hummer

Hi,

It's a bad photo but that's all I have of it. Isn't it way too late for this precious thing to be in New York? He/ she was by itself and definitely had a darkish throat. The only good thing was it had no competition except for some bees. Pic. taken today 11/6. Thx so much. I'm worried for it.

At first glance, it looks like a Rufous Hummingbird, given the white collar and apparent rust colored sides and undertail.

Thanks BN. I think you're right. I thought it looked different from the regular ruby-throated females I photographed in Summer.
