Lettuce density

DemosdFebruary 27, 2013

Greetings to everyone on this great forum from a new member.
I am have been growing hydroponic lettuce for about 6 months using an NFT system with very few major problems.
Recently I have come across a problem with my lollo bionda.
They seem healthy enough but they are growing an extremely dense head like iceberg, instead of being loose leaf.
I am using Howard Resh formula at an EC of 1.3 and Ph 5.8-6.3.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Demosd, Welcome to GardenWeb. I totally agree with Carb, because without the images of the setup of growing process; we would not able to suggest any solution.

Carb is right, without an image of your installed system and the lettuce; we wonâÂÂt be able to recognize the problem.
