Nurseries for evergreens

cathy3777(z5IA)August 7, 2004

Hi-I'm wanting to make a road trip to look for some interesting evergreens to add to my landscape. I know that there are a lot of new, unusual evergreens/conifers out there now, but I'm not sure where to go to find them. I like to look at them before I buy. Does anyone know of any Iowa or western Illinois nurseries with a good selection?

Only one I know of is Ace Home and Garden on JFK and the NE Arterial Road..near the Dubuque Arboretum. It is a new nursery this year and it's big with a lot of different items. Check it out!
