Trying aeroponics--after many stops and starts plants finally growing--but the roots are a problem---just how many roots do they need???
More is always better. Those are nice and healthy. Any roots that a person should cut would be so brown and rotten that they were falling off already anyway.
They do like support, though. Plants in nature have the soil for that. If you made a trellis for them, like a couple of stacked plastic milk crate type boxes, they would be happier. You would get even more more surface area of roots, which can only be a good thing, especially with plants that are doing as well as yours.
This is an indication that the roots aren't getting enough air, increase your air flow.
