cycling off air pump on WaterFarm

GregWoodrowMarch 24, 2013

Just set up our first Water Farm and am wondering if I need to leave the air pump running constantly, or can I turn it off at night? The seedling is in rockwool.

I have not used a waterfarm, but I think it is meant to run continuously. As long as the roots don't dry out, turning it off at night probably wouldn't hurt, but I don't think you would get any advantage from doing so.
