WANTED: Irises

lswendrowskiApril 3, 2006

Help me save my irises - Last year October, I moved and pulled some irises, trimmed and transplated. I transplanted at my new home, not knowing what the area was like. There was a small garden along the shed, but I am finding it is getting rain run off and the irises have lifted out of the ground. I don't want to mess with them right now. Any suggestions, I had some really beautiful hybrid and hate to loose them. Thanks for any advice.

add dirt on them to cover any roots put stones, or rocks along edges to slow water to keep it from taking your soil
Good luck
