Help Pee Wee

ditasJune 29, 2010

Hi - Could anyone give DX & RX to this 3y/o beauty.

PW suffered from a breakage last Winter ... mended, healed, produced shoots & 12 cluster buds/flashed (the earliest of my 3 Oakleaf Hs. All of a sudden, after 2 wks of nightly storms + intermittent day rains, showed signs of droopiness thast progressed to: please see pix posted.

I know O H do not like wet feet ... how can I save this little guy?

TIA

I just wish I knew what could have caused the little guy's sudden death ... he never revived from coma ... I couldn't resuscitate ... soil was too wet to apply emergency sugar Rx.

I'll leave him be for a while more, before pulling up, to see if it was a *Vole-attack* rather than *wet-feet* (he was planted at the bottom of a slope).

Cousins SQ & Alice are in great shape, both less blooms but growing well.
