limelight hydrangea

this is my first year limelight., in the ground a little over a month........pray it makes it through our nc winter....I will mulch it well....

Limelight makes it through my northern PA winters, so I'm guessing you don't have to worry.

Your limelight looks great! I bought these 5 at walmart a couple weeks ago and they are slowly coming back. They were almost dead when I bought them. The people working there hadn't unwrapped them or watered them. This is the only pic I have of the bed, before the walking trail and mulch was added. I'm hoping I didnt plant them in too much shade. They should grow to make a nice hedge blocking the view from the road of our firepit area.

Limelights are super hardy and should make it through winter without a problem. My issue has always been getting them enough water the first year.

All hydrangea paniculata are hardy pretty much down to USDA zone 3.
