Deformed blooms

This year for the first time the blooms on my Oak Leaf Hydrangeas were deformed. They did not fill out as usual.
What may be my problem? Thanks

Can you post pictures? I am not sure how to interpret what you meant by "deformed" blooms.

Here is a picture of the blooms. The bush appears healthy
