When as Iris is described as "freely flowering" what does that mean? Thanks! Ann

I don't think that's an officially sanctioned description. Usually there's a bud count to tell you how many flowers something gets. But it probably just means it flowers a lot.

Thanks, it is mostly on the historic Iris I have that I see "freely flowering" and have just been wondering about it. Ann
