Reflectors

I see in most systems there will be a bright white or tinfoil reflectors and walls. What about mirrors? Wouldn't it work as well?

I'm sure they would. they're just expensive and weigh a lot.

Maybe, but there is also the possibility that the light will be reflected in a concentrated beam (like a magnifying glass scorching an ant to dust)... who knows!

I've been using them for quite a while. My brother used to bring home blems and seconds when he worked for a local glass company so cost was no issue. They work great, but weigh a lot and can destroy many plants quickly when they become unfastened. I would not recommend them in earthquake prone regions as they are also quite fragile.
