when do they bloom??

i am a novice - thanks for keeping the chuckles to yourself when i ask such simple questions - :)

ordered iris - when planted - how long before they "should" bloom - one year - or more

When did you get them in the ground?
If you planted them last fall, they will bloom this spring.
Some take a few years to get established, but most bloom within a year.
