Touch of Mahagony
Minnesota Mixed-Up Kid. Just planted out last year but made some pretty decent increases.
Nut 'n Honey
Bayberry Candle. I couldn't get a picture that showed the olive green color in this one.
Nicely framed pictures! I notice that when I google American Classic, I get some pictures with a reddish violet purple and some with an indigo purple. Which is it?
Lovely! I ordered American Classic last year, but it hasn't bloomed yet. Blue J Iris describes it as violet-blue, if that helps.
that's a pretty fair picture of it's color
still a few more tall bearded blooming...here's Pheasant Feather just opening this morning. TB season is just about over for me. I did find one more bud on a NOID. Jap.sibs, La.s and Jap. Roof irises are just now starting to bloom.
Those are so pretty, but Pheasant Feather is a stunning color combo. I've never see that one before. Here I am downsizing, but that one just may have to come to my reduced space. Love it!
I know what you mean. I have 1 1/2 acres but only a small part of it grows irises well. I have many to more many still in pots in the greenhouse and many, many ,many more I'd like to have.
Wow, your Bayberry Candle is so pretty. I wish it would do better here- I just love it. Touch of Mahogany is quite a bloomer!
I agree- Pheasant Feathers is a wonderfully bright color combo.
Thanks for posting all of the photos.
Nice pictures! Pheasant Feather has been added to my wish list.. and definitely Bayberry Candle too.
