Forever and Ever Deadhead?

kentstar(5b, NE Ohio)August 3, 2010

I have Blue Heaven that has a couple of browned out flowers now. Am I supposed to deadhead those? I know you aren't supposed to prune them but how about just deadheading?

Thanks

Cathy

You do not HAVE to deadhead them but you CAN. It is an option. Some remontant varieties like ES can be deadheaded to get more blooms too.

Or you can just leave the blooms there. That is what I do and they "naturally" fall on their own in Jan-Feb.
