Japanese iris info please
I have one growing in the bank of my natural pond and so far it's doing fairly well. The problem is that it is only doing fairly well and it's a bit of a hike to see it when it does bloom, which is only a few flower so sometimes I miss the blooms because I didn't make the hike.
Can they take drier conditions? I would like to move at least a piece of it closer to the house, but won't if it's not right for it. I pretty much have everything from full shade to full sun, rich loam to pure clay soil.
I was told they like having their feet wet, which is why its at the pond with my yellow sweet flags. This year I decided to get a few more opinions.
Thanks in advance for any info.
