Unknown Iris - Early - Mid Season

penelope(Z6 KY)May 15, 2011

These are all older. Any suggestions for names would be great!

Dark Purple, 32", white/gold veins, lt-to-dk gold beard.

Bright Purple, 33", large standards, wh veins, white-to-gold beard.

Dark Yellow - 30", solid yellow w/ beard, maybe a little white stripe, doesn't want to fully open.

Old Fashioned - branched, small bloom, 28", brown veining, lt-to-dk orange beard.

I think that the last picture may be 'Flavescens', 30" E (1813)
What do you think?

Middle one is likely Eleanor Roosevelt. Crimson King is similar

Last one does look like Flavescens.

The Bright Purple Iris is 33" tall. My iris seem to run at or under the given measurement of the named example. So, I'm not sure that it's an IB. It does look like Crimson King in one picture that I found. I think that this Iris may be newer, based on where I got them.

Thanks for your help!
