Iris blooms

Ivan21(7b)May 9, 2013

Hello,

in the last 2 years I've planted at least 20 varieties of irises in my family garden in Slovenia, Europe.

Here are some photos:

Wow, Ivan!
Both your irises and your photos of them are wonderful! I particularly like the way you've captured the apricot iris with its orange beards in what looks to be golden light--late afternoon, perhaps? Congratulations, and keep those photos coming!!

Really pretty :) I think my favorite is the second purple and white one!

Thank you for the nice comments.

onderw: It was indeed a afternoon with a nice red sky later on.

hosenemesis: The stone walls are quite old at least 50 years. Each year I find a few snake skins hanging out of them.

Here a few more irises that bloomed 2 weeks ago. Enjoy :)

Raspberry Blush

Indiglow

Crinoline (which I identified with help from this forum)

Blue Bumble
