Favorite Iris Not Going To Bloom This Year

jmcdmdMay 11, 2013

Panic. My favoritie iris looks like it's not going to bloom this year. It has been so very prolific these past 5-6 years that I just left it alone....afraid to disturb it.

I love this thing so much I'm going to divide it up and put it in several areas of my yard.

Any suggestions on how many divisions to make....what parts to discard, if any?

Clump size will depend upon space. Planting 3 rhiz. together, pointing outwards, is common.

You will know what to discard - dried out husks!
