Tree ID

Hi there!!

I found this tree growing in the Treme neighborhood of New Orleans, and for the life of me, can't figure out what it is.

Though pruned pretty harshly, it's about 20' or so high, and half that wide.

Definitely in the Rosaceae family, though that's as far as I got.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Looks to me like a crabapple with dried fruit.
