Pruning Limelight

hookshot_gardenerSeptember 7, 2009

What is the correct time and way to prune Limelights. Mine started out at afoot and are 3' now. I want them to stay 3' for next yr.

You will not be able to keep Limelight under 3 feet tall by pruning. Enjoy its full size. If you don't have the space for anything over 3 feet tall, you may want to move it. I pruned mine down to 2 feet in late winter/early spring and now it's 6 foot tall...

You can get the instructions on pruning by doing a search on this forum as they have been discussed a lot already. Good luck.
