scarlet runner beans

foxygardenerJune 20, 2010

I have grown runner beans and climbing purple pod dwarf beans for some years and they always climb counterclockwise ( viewed from above). But enough about that.I have just read that folk in some parts treat scarlet runners as perennial plants > I assume this is to do with the climate ??? I would however like top hear if anyone living in the South of England has tried this with any success ??

foxy, try posting this on the discussions side of this forum. There has been some discussion on this very subject I just can't remember which thread.
I don't think this side of the forum (conversations) is very active, you'll have better luck on the discussion side. I just came here by accident today.
