ID question

october17(5chgo)November 14, 2013

I had a hydrangea that had flat -top flowers. In spring they were green, end of summer white, then fall a deep pink. I loved the shrub but the whole fenceline had to go.

Can anyone tell me what I had? I would love to get a few of them now.

H. arborescens Annabelle maybe? They are quite commonly available (by mail or locally). However, at this time of the year, many places may be out of stock and you could end up having to wait for warmer temperatures in Spring. Check Incrediball, a twin that is supposed to have stronger stems and bigger blooms.
