Can I go ahead and spread out my wildflower seeds so that they come up next spring?
I went to a nice website a while back where they mixed their wild flowers into a mud ball and threw them out into the areas they wanted them to grow then let nature takes its course. Has anyone tried this as it seems like it just might work better than most processes of planting wildflowers.
Doesn't sound appealing to me. I wouldn't do it. How would the seeds evenly distribute that way? I'd follow the packet directions, or lacking that check with your extension service for directions to accomplish this endeavor. A wildflower or gardening book would likely give info on succeeding at this job.
