iris seedling help needed

antiqueorchid(Z-6)July 28, 2010

I have Iris chrysographes seedlings that are only 3" tall. Does anyone know how I should care for them through the winter. Will they survive zone 6 weather outside or should I plant them in a cold frame?

Well, I thought a more expert person would reply, but since no one has, I'll give you my own "expert" opinion (you lucky person!):

If they were mine, & I lived in a place with cold winters, I wouldn't risk my precious seedlings.

I'd put 'em in a greenhouse or whatever.

hope you get some lovely flowers!
