Metal Halide bulbs - does age matter?

snidelywhiplash(z5a Nebraska)February 24, 2013

Hi all -

I have a bunch of nice 150W metal halide bulbs - still new in the packages - that I was thinking of selling.

Their manufacture date is July 2009. If they've never been used, is the age of the bulbs of any importance?

Thanks!
Jason

They will do just fine...bulbs deteriorate out of usage.

Great - thanks so much! Just didn't want to be selling stuff that wouldn't be any good.
