Iris Bed or Mixed Bed

Do you grow your irises in a separate bed just for iris bulbs or do you put them in a mixed bed? Just wondering ! :)

My tall beardeds are in with roses and drought resistant perrenials. This was the 1st year there was simultaneous bloom! (with the roses). Exciting.

Mine are mixed in with other perennials and roses too. I have one bed in my veggie garden for irises that I have no place for, but I move those into the garden as soon as I find a spot.

Bearded are in their own bed. In this climate, they do not play well with other plants.

Siberians are in mixed beds.
