I just received this Lithonia Lighting LED panel from a friend and I was wondering if I could use it as a grow light. Here are some pics.

I'm not sure how ill mount this thing though because its very heavy and meant to be hung vertically on a pole.

This is the only way I could do it using what I have on hand. Too close?

You have installed the LED lights pretty well, I would say. But the white LED light seems quite insufficient for plantâÂÂs growth. Due to its low intensity, LEDs are usually used in color specific version. Of course, still low electricity consumption than any regular lights.
