What kind of light for tomatoes

im growing tomatoes from seed what kind of light setup do i need to grow them and im on a budget right now is there anything within the 20 usd range if not what would be the cheapest

If you're just starting seedlings to set outside later, cheap shop lights will probably work just fine for you. Just keep them 3" or so from the top of the plants.

I use a 25$ 2 foot t5 Ho fixture. Single light fixture. Works awesome when starting seeds. You can find it any local hydroponics store.

you can use any cheap shoplight - t8 is the best price/light quality etc. look for lamp with higher lumens (amount of light) - paul m.
